Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum for a special screening of "On Healing Land, Birds Perch," a powerful new short documentary that explores the enduring aftershocks of the Vietnam War. The film centers on the iconic Pulitzer Prize-winning photograph of South Vietnamese General Nguyễn Ngọc Loan shooting Việt Cộng Captain Nguyễn Văn Lém, taken just two days after the 1968 Tet Offensive. Following the screening, 1975's Linh-Phương Vũ will moderate a bilingual panel discussion on the trauma of war, featuring filmmaker Naja Pham Lockwood, faculty Vũ Diễm Hương, and community organizer Kevin Lam.
