Screening Night 1

To kick off the first night of the 5th Annual NYU Sports Film Festival, we will host our first screening of short films that have been selected as finalists for our festival awards, including an Audience Award that will be voted on live by attendees! Date | Friday, April 25th Time | 5:45-8:30pm – Doors open at 5:30pm Location | Angelika Film Center About the Awards: The 2025 NYUSFF prizes include screenings, $3k+ in monetary awards, professional mentorship, and TV broadcast opportunities. | NYUSFF Grand Jury Prize |Our jury of industry professionals will select one film that best embodies the spirit of the festival. | NYUSFF Audience Award |The audience award will be voted on live by all NYUSFF attendees. | SNY Final Four |Five films selected by our jury will broadcast on an SNY television special. There will also be awards for each category, including NYU and Open Doc as well as NYU and Open Narrative. Our NYU Pitch Contest category will also feature exclusive prizes offered by our partners.
