Wild Yams Open Studio Night

Join WILD YAMS for an open studios and gathering where WILD YAMS: Black Mothers Artist Residency alumni, and the larger community are welcome with their families to drop in for nourishment and joy, both from food and community. Come meet the WILD YAMS SEED Residents in person and see what they've been working on in their studios. During EXPO Chicago art fair week! We will provide snacks and refreshments. Weather permitting, part of this event will happen in the garden outside the building, which is accessible from the street though is a grass lawn. WILD YAMS studios are on the second floor up a flight of stairs and is not wheelchair accessible. For accessibility, we can live-streamed short video tours to those who are not able to access the space due to physical or other restrictions. THE cre.æ.tive ROOM (TCR) is an Art + Design Collaboratorium studio founded in 2015 by Interior Architect Clemenstein Love in Chicago's Park Manor neighborhood. TCR provides artist's studio, gallery, lecture workshop room, office workspace, and outdoor studio garden. WILD YAMS has been in partnership with TCR since 2021. More Info below.
