Josh Rogosin Masterclass

On 4/21, TechConnect will host audio engineer Josh Rogosin (former NPR Tiny Desk, now Global Sound Concerts) for a Masterclass on site recording, stereo mixing, and Pro Tools wizardry, where he will draw on his 25 years of expertise to share insight into how to capture and mix the intimate, natural, and true-to-life sound of any artist, even in unconventional recording spots. Josh spent over 10 years shaping the iconic sound of Tiny Desk Concerts, where his mixes have been streamed over a billion times on YouTube and he has collaborated with artists Harry Styles, Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Fred Again, Boygenius, Mac Miller, Sting, Post Malone, Coldplay, Anderson .Paak, and many more. He is currently producing Global Sound Concerts, and travelling internationally to capture site recordings of artists in locations that are meaningful to their artistic story. This event will take place at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library on Monday April 21, 2025 at 6:00 PM. Please note: Tickets are valid for the duration of the event. Ticket holders will be admitted entry on a first come, first served basis and all entry is subject to venue capacity. Re-entry is permitted provided venue capacity limit has not been reached at that time. Waitlist tickets do not guarantee entry.
