On Saturday, April 19, join us at 10am for a special, participatory program celebrating Poetry and the Creative Mind Day with Guishard Films at African Burial Ground National Monument (AFBG). Theatre seating is limited for our free, family-friendly program so please register! In the Visitor Center theatre, Tamika R. Guishard, award-winning filmmaker and former AFBG Park Ranger, will share two of her short films shot on-location at the Outdoor Memorial: one nonfiction and one dance-driven.
