Join us for a Conversation with Colum McCann on launching his writing career at UT Austin! On Thursday April 3, 2025 at 5 pm in the Joynes Reading Room, please join us for a conversation with internationally bestselling author and UT alum Colum McCann. McCann will be discussing his first published piece in Analecta Magazine (now Apricity) and his journey as a writer. The event will be followed by an audience Q&A and a reception.This event is free and open to the public, made possible by a collaboration between the College of Liberal Arts, the Joynes Reading Room, and Apricity Magazine. This event is part of a celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Analecta Magazine, UT Austin's first undergraduate literary arts journal, which merged with Apricity Magazine in 2019. More Info below.
