February kicks off Black History Month as well as Vegan Cuisine Month!! To commemorate both of these celebrations, the American Vegan Center will be paying homage to African American soul food traditions in a budget friendly, veganized way. Chef Taslim “Taz” Patterson owner of Royal T Vegans will be the headlining chef. Chef Taz creates delicious vegan dishes that mimic the smell and texture of her favorite foods. Her foods have become widely sought after locally, and widely in the east coast. She has partnered with renowned businesses and organization serving as a resource for transition to veganism and cooking tips. Chef Taz is eager to share her love of cooking and embark on meaningful conversations about Black history, resilience, and health. Bring your family and friends to this celebration to enjoy great discussions and a spectacular taste testing session! Disclaimer: This is an unhosted event.
