Join us February 10th for an evening of insightful speakers on agrivoltaic farming with networking opportunities! Whether you're a seasoned farmer or just starting out, this event is perfect for anyone looking to enhance their farming practices and secure a sustainable future. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to revolutionize your farm's future! Resources from the USDA Rural Development, the USDA NRCS Natural Resource Conservation Service, the USDA TOPP Transition to Organic Partnership Program, the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension Office, and the Arizona Farm Bureau will also be in attendance! Speakers include: Byron Kominek, the owner of Jack's Solar Garden in Longmont, CO and Founder of Colorado Agrivoltaic Learning Center. Byron farms row crops between his solar panels and grazes various livestock with solar panels. [hidden] [hidden] Sarah Bendok, the founder of Growing Green. Growing Green is a local Arizona Non- Profit Organization which has successfully developed, implemented and funded sustainability projects with community gardens leading to higher yields and reduced water usage with agrivoltaics.
