Sunday Fun-Day: Easy Hike, Walk And Rooftop Drinks!

Finish the weekend on a high note with a quick hike + walk around Tempe! The weather should be perfect for a day out in the sun. We will take the quick hike up the "A" Mountain at Hayden Butte, which offers great views of the valley. It is a very quick urban hike but has a steep gradient, so make sure to wear appropriate footwear. We will meet in the parking lot on the west face of Hayden Butte, right next to the 3rd St/Mill tram station! After we make our way down, we will take a stroll over to one of the rooftop bars in Tempe (Ex: UpBar, Skysill Lounge, or Alibi) to grab drinks and snacks while taking in another elevated vantage point of Tempe and the surrounding valley. If you aren't feeling the hike but still have an itch to socialize, feel free to join up with us later! We anticipate reaching one of these bars around 3:15 and will provide an update in the comments. As always these events are open to all members of this Meetup group and their invited guests.
