Closing Reception

Join us for an evening of connection: an artist talk with educational leaders Brenna Fisher, Maay Brice, Jahidah Diaab, and Yesenia Placencia. This will be part of the event, alongside a viewing of works by featured artists Yung Oh Le Page, Maxine Campisciano, Latika Sridhar, Jim Sperber, Julia Heffernan, Joi Anissa, Jahidah Diaab, Emily Knowlton, and Brenna Fisher. Come see the art and engage with the artists! During this time, experienced educators will engage in a facilitated Q&A on play's power in creating compassionate communities. There will be invitations to move and create following the interactive conversation. Light refreshments, snacks, and art materials will be provided. Art Changes Lives is an inspiring art performance initiative led by Brenna Fisher. Its mission is to redistribute funds to individuals, groups, and projects that foster artistic play and creativity. Every donation helps bring transformative art experiences to life and supports the artists who make them possible. Donations can be sent via Venmo to @artsquirrel if you'd like to contribute. Thank you for being so supportive in making art accessible and impactful, because art truly changes lives. More Info below.
