Awarded as The Best Play of the Year in the Czech Republic, Snowflakes is a unique theater performance blending music, dance and storytelling. Thirty exceptional children—young performers from orphanages and marginalized communities—take the stage to share their personal stories, offering the audience a rare glimpse into their energy, joy, and determination. Created by avant-garde filmmaker Viktor Tauš, the show is built around the authentic experiences of these children, highlighting the transformative power of inclusion. Known for his experimental storytelling, Tauš has received multiple accolades, including three Czech Lions. Girl America found its energy not only in the true story, the years spent working on the screenplay, its subsequent adaptation into a theatrical production, and its creators, but primarily in the extraordinary group of young performers who came from orphanages and marginalized communities. The integrity of this group of child performers is built on the authenticity of each individual's fate. Auditions, collaborative rehearsals, understanding group dynamics, trust, new purpose, filming, new relationships, new hopes and direction, a way to break free from the vicious circle of one’s own destiny, and a chance to finally show others what you're capable of and how determined you are to overcome your challenges—these elements all imprinted on the making of the film and became its deeper meaning. The path to Girl America included several theatrical versions, returning to its roots and giving the audience a unique chance to experience the energy and significance of integrating these extraordinary children, full of energy, joy, and determination. Tickets and Admission: Tickets are free and may be sold in excess of venue capacity. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis; late arrivals may be denied entry once capacity is reached.
