Food Not Bombs: Cook, Serve, And Eat With Awesome People! 🍆🌽 🥕

Do you love food, people, and making a difference? Then join us every Saturday as we prepare and deliver delicious meals for our homeless and low-income neighbors. You’ll also get to enjoy a hot plate of food yourself, along with the company of some amazing volunteers. **This is the afternoon shift which starts at 2:30 (packing meals for delivery). The morning shift starts at 11:15 (cutting & cooking). You can come and go as you please. No signups/skills/reuirements. Just a willingness to help. **We typically have 6-10 volunteers every week that are not shown in the attendance We need your help with: Cleaning: dishes, tables, floors, trash. You know, the usual stuff. Packing: putting food into containers. Think of it as a Tetris game. Delivering: bringing food to the hungry. Feel free to sing along the way. The event takes place at La Reunion co-op kitchen, door left of the laundry #106. It’s a 20-minute walk from N. Lamar Transit Center, or you can park on the street or in the lot. You can come and go as you please, anytime between 2:30-4. Just make sure to ask my cousin Ken or Seju for a plate of food before you leave.
