The Formula: An All-Black Improv Comedy Experience

The Formula: An All-Black Improv Comedy Experience is a once-a-month FREE jam to allow Black performers to get to know one another, practice improv, and have a good time. The monthly jam will build skills, allow for more stage time, and allow performers at different levels to perform together and network; this is a stage for Black performers to express ideas that may not translate as easily in other settings. Though it is an improv jam, comedians, writers, actors, and even professionals can effectively use improv skills in other ventures. The Formula happens the first Thursday of every month from 7-9 pm. Please note: This community event welcomes any and all Black performers. We do ask that everyone who attends participate in the jam. Registration is optional and used only for planning purposes.
