LA Betches, this one’s for you. LAID is the f*cked up rom-com with a dark twist we’ve been missing. It stars Oscar-nominee Stephanie Hsu (Everything Everywhere All at Once, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) playing a woman who learns her former lovers are suddenly dying under unusual circumstances. To figure out why, and how to stop it from happening again, she goes back through her sex timeline — with the help of her best friend, played by Zosia Mamet (Girls, The Flight Attendant)— to confront her past to move forward. The series answers the question, “Why can’t I find love? Is there something wrong with me?,” with a resounding, “Yes. There is. The problem is definitely you.” Hell yes!
