New Jersey Masterchorale Presents Illuminare

The New Jersey MasterChorale will present its annual Christmas concert on Sunday, December 8, in the Haddonfield United Methodist Church Sanctuary.The program will begin at 7pm, accompanied by organist Matt Smith, members of the Philadelphia Orchestra, and friends. Titled Illuminare (“To Illuminate”), the concert features Elaine Hagenberg’s Illuminare, based on religious texts about light, and selections from Carl Heinrich Graun’s Weihnachtsoratorium (Christmas Oratorio). Soloists from Westminster Choir College and the Academy of Vocal Arts will perform. Traditional carols by Alice Parker & Robert Shaw and “Joy to the World” arranged by John Rutter for strings, trumpets, and organ will also be featured. More Info below.
