Celebrating Life Is My Religion Book Launch Event

Welcome to the Celebrating Life is My Religion Book Launch Event! Come join us at CSC Station for a night filled with joy and inspiration as we celebrate the launch of Tressie & Nana's book, "Celebrating Life is My Religion" — an inspiring story of abuse, grief, joy and survival which recounts the life of Joan G. Mitchell from a young girl into adulthood, as told by her daughter, author Tereska E. James. This in-person event will feature a book signing, reading, and engaging discussion with the author. Hear from Joan about what it’s taken for her to grow from a shy, insecure girl to a woman fully living in her truth unapologetically and celebrating life along the way. See you there! Light refreshments will be available and books will be offered for $20. Onsite parking is available next to the venue and is complimentary for all attendees.
