The Investigative Project On Race And Equity: Cheers To Our First Year

Just over a year ago, the Investigative Project made its debut, and now it’s time to celebrate! This free event is dedicated to all our friends who helped us get to where we are today — because we couldn’t have done it without your support. Join us for complimentary appetizers, craft beers, cocktails and other delicious drinks (your first round is on us!), engaging conversation and a brief program at 6:30 p.m. We’ll be toasting some of our accomplishments from this past year, including the awards we earned for our first investigation — a collaboration with WBEZ Chicago on the state of traffic stops in Illinois. After brief remarks, you’ll have the chance to raise your paddle to help us continue this important work. The best part: Since our party falls during the annual NewsMatch campaign, every gift you make will be matched dollar for dollar. More Info below.
