About BONE STUDY: A mutant strand of rhythm & blues, found sound, and electronics. An exploration between the spirit and technology, deep space, surrealist movements, and isolationism. About Lavotsky: Chicago-based producer and DJ Lavotsky, a member of Rent Control Records, crafts soundscapes using synths, drum machines, and cassettes. His productions blend elements of ambient, minimal synth, and inspiration from film scores. In his DJ sets, Lavotsky focuses on forgotten sounds of the past ranging from all genres. More Info below.
