#DYK the Houston Food Bank is the largest foodbank in the world AND distributes more than two hundred million dollars of food each year to over 800,000 recipients. Since becoming president and CEO of the Houston Food Bank in 2005, Brian Greene has led the nonprofit to an ultimate peak with a fivefold increase in distribution and was deemed one of the 50 most influential nonprofit leaders in the U.S. in the Nonprofit Times in 2021. President and CEO of the Houston Food Bank, Brian Greene, will join Studio Scholars on October 23rd from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to share his experience leading the largest food bank in the world.
