This beginner's 5K running program is a 10-week program that gets you ready for your first 5K. It's an easy-to-follow program consisting of 3 days of active running/walking intervals that gradually builds to more time running than walking. The program also includes activities for non-running days to maximize performance and recovery. This program is designed for anyone starting their running journey, anyone with a goal to run a 5K and for anyone coming back to running after some time off. The class is led by a running coach who provides guidance, support, and motivation to help achieve the goal. Running group will meet at Anne Loftus Playground (Broadway and Riverside Dr.) and start running at 10:05am. More Info below.
