Spooky Season 🎃 Monthly Run Club + Brunch ✨

Come join us for a spooktacular event at Glenwood Cemetery on Sun, Oct 06, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Lace up your running shoes and get ready for a fun run through the historic cemetery grounds. After the run, stick around for a delicious brunch with fellow runners. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just starting out, this event is perfect for all fitness levels. Event Schedule + How To Find Us: 11:00am-11:45am: Meeting up as a running group at Glenwood Cemetery & 30 minute run through the grounds. One of the main entrances to Glenwood is Washington & Custus (1001 Custus Street). We will meet at the entrance of Glenwood and run through the grounds out to Kane Street where we will get brunch. Entire run is a little over a mile. 11:45am: Our run will end at Henderson & Kane (715 Henderson Street) for weekend brunch. It's about a .4 mile walk back to the Glenwood cemetery entrance if you plan to park there, otherwise we suggest street parking between the cemetery & Henderson & Kane for a shorter walk post-brunch. If you need help finding us or the group, please email [hidden] with any questions or text/call Macey at [hidden]. Please arrive by 11:10am if you want to meet up with our group to run. Parking + Additional Information: You may park along the cemetery roads as long as you allow room for another vehicle to pass. Please observe the posted 10mph speed limit and other ground rules if you plan to park at Glenwood. Street parking available at 2702 Washington Ave. Additional rules & guidelines for the cemetery available here. All attendees, ticket holders, & members of our group agree to follow all rules for the cemetery. Please be respectful! Refunds: We are a small + local social club and plan each event around an accurate final headcount. For that reason, we cannot provide refunds up to seven days prior to an event. We do NOT provide refunds for any reason. If the event is canceled or rescheduled on our end, we will give full refunds. Event is rain/shine. Please Note: We are NOT associated with Glenwood Cemetery, Henderson & Kane, or any vendors at this event. This event is a "Meetup" with our social club. All attendees are responsible for their own drink/food costs. We are simply "Meeting up" to run & brunch as a social club & friend group! Social Anxiety?! We get it. It's weird to meet strangers off the internet - & our parents definitely told us not to! Our premium membership "verifies" all members so you can feel safer attending. We recommend grabbing a drink (alcoholic or non!) to have something to hold/sip for the inevitable awkward silences. Planning ahead, dressing in something that makes you feel confident, & thinking of some of your interests/potential conversations before arriving are some tips to ensure you have a fun night.
