Bbq-Toberfest: Beer N' Bbq Festival

Break out your steins and celebrate the start of fall by joining Navigator Taproom and Operation BBQ Relief for the 4th annual “Oktoberfest: Beer n' BBQ Festival" on Saturday, September 30th. Drink to Navigator Taproom’s 7th year anniversary and celebrate Oktoberfest by enjoying a special selection of over ten German beers, as well as 40+ other craft options, and the amazing barbecue of local award winning pitmasters. Choose from a selection of smoked chicken, pulled pork, german brätwurst, as well as all the sides and fixings. All barbecue proceeds will go towards OBR to help fund their ongoing work providing comfort and hot meals to communities in need throughout the US. Local breweries including Maplewood, Pipeworks, & Pilot Project will be in attendance sampling a selection of their award winning craft beers to pair with all the smoked delicacies. All Attendees will be entered into a raffle to win cool prizes. Event starts at 1:00pm with the pitmasters smoking up meaty goodness until 6pm. Beer tasting and pairings start at 2:00pm About OBR: Operation BBQ Relief is a nonprofit organization that was founded in May 2011 in response to a need for tornado relief efforts in Joplin, Missouri. Competitive pitmasters from nine different states answered the call to feed displaced families and first responders. Together, they were able to serve over 120,000 meals in a 13-day period. This experience of building a network to feed individuals in need has been the inspiration for Operation BBQ Relief. To date, Operation BBQ Relief has provided over 9 million meals throughout the United States and internationally following natural disasters, COVID-19 response, and through The Always Serving Project, benefiting the homeless, first responders, veterans and members of the military.
