Beyond The Pale Celtic Band

Concerts at St. John’s presents Celtic folk band Beyond the Pale in concert on Sunday, 22 September, at 3pm, opening the Concerts at St John's 2024-2025 concert season. True to their name, Beyond The Pale delivers an exciting, Celtic-inspired musical experience outside the boundaries of convention. Led by musicians Gordon and Christy McLeod, this ensemble has delighted audiences for over twenty years, the band is grounded in the traditional roots music of America, Ireland, Scotland and Northern Europe with imaginative ventures across musical borders. This concert will feature a trio featuring fiddle, guitar, mandolins, flute, hammered dulcimer, concertina and vocals, presenting Celtic music interspersed with imaginative musical ventures elsewhere. They will play old folk favorites from the Appalachian and Irish traditions, with commentary that will make the music come alive for all ages. This concert will take place in the parish hall at St. John’s, 848 Harter Road, Dallas, in the parish hall. Refreshments will be served during the event. $10 admission. More Info below.
