N ew to lighting for film, video, social, photo or any media type these days? Austin Movie Gear is proud to host this workshop for lighting. Using our favorite light kits which have been newly discounted. We'll cover cinematic portraits, single source lighting, bounce / reflected light, negative fill, reverse key and 3 point lighting strategies. These techniques will help you address most situations with confidence and demonstrate the power of small to medium power lights. Starting from no lights, we'll build a scene together interactively. This way you'll see what each light, modifier and light placement is adding to our simple scene. As a bonus, I'll breakdown my favorite lighting setups for product and marketing photos.
