South Austin Block Party!

In partnership with Austin Parks and Recreation Department, the Far South Central Super Precinct is excited to announce our first nonpartisan community event! It will be hosted at the Dittmar Recreation Center at 1009 West Dittmar Road in South Austin. This event is perfect for Austinites who are interested in getting to know their neighbors or want to be more involved in their community. This is a family-friendly event with plenty of fun activities for kids to participate in. At this event, kids vote too! We’ll be holding a just-for-fun election so that our next generation of voters can learn about elections and we’ll finally hear what they have to say about such issues as waffles vs pancakes and best snowcone flavor. Local elected officials will be available to provide information about their work and offer assistance to folks needing to access public services. We hope you can join us! More Info below.
