DJ MISO will be curating the music for the evening. September 14 - 6-9pm - Closing reception/artist talk with Katrina Rasmussen and Corey Godfrey Exhibition on view - September 3 - 14, 2024 Art on Main 4428 Main Street, Suite 200, Dallas, TX 75226 The Convergence exhibition features collaborative works of art centered around the theme of connectivity, community and unity. All artists 18 years and older could apply. Artists who are historically underrepresented i.e., female-identifying, mothers, members of the LGBTQIA+, disabled, and/or ALAANA communities were encouraged to apply. Connection between artists and community is a central goal and we believe that by working under the theme of convergence and collaboration we can create a feeling of unity within our arts community in an authentic way. “Convergence” - The definition of convergence is, the act of converging and especially moving toward union. The conception and effort of the exhibition itself is a collaboration between two female-identifying gallery owners, uniting to create something unique for East Dallas community, the City of Dallas arts community and the community at large.
