Songs 'n Swings: Music With Mr. Patrick Martin

This outdoor music class is designed to bring together families through music and movement engagement with Mr. Patrick Martin. Join us for a 40 minute interactive class filled with dancing, singing and fun tunes for all. Bring a blanket and/or chairs and enjoy a family outing at the park all while meeting new friends! **This class is sponsored by Nurture Therapy located at 3711 N Ravenswood Ave in Chicago. Nurture Therapy specializes in Maternal and Women's mental health- counseling individuals and their families through all parts of the reproductive journey. About Mr. Patrick Martin: Mr. Patrick is a Chicago based teaching artist and musician with a decade of experience sharing music and theatre with children and their families. Having spent years performing in musicals around Chicago as well as playing professionally in dozens of bands, Mr. Patrick brings both of his creative worlds together in music class to create an experience that parents and caretakers will enjoy just as much as their children! Patrick is proud to have collaborated as a teaching artist with Wiggleworms at the Old Town School, NYC's Jam with Jamie, Chicago Children's Theatre, as well as their Red Kite Program for children with autism, and Stomp and Shout Chicago, to name just a few. When he isn't teaching, he can be found bringing the boogie to local dance floors with The Bluewater Kings Band.
