Vogel Creek Greenway Grand Opening Celebration

VOGEL CREEK GREENWAY GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION SUNDAY, DECEMBER 17, 2023, 12 – 2:30 PM 7443 Maple Tree Drive Houston, TX 77088 Join Houston Parks Board along with its project partners and funders to celebrate the completion of construction on Vogel Creek Greenway, 1-mile hike-and-bike trail along Vogel Creek in the Inwood Forest Neighborhood. FEATURING a speaking program at 1 PM with Mayor Sylvester Turner! Enjoy FREE food and refreshments, music, and festive giveaways. Following the Ribbon Cutting, join us on an inaugural bike ride and walk. Bring your bike, and don’t forget your helmet! This greenway was built as the first phase of the Inwood Recreation Plan. The Houston Parks Board effort to transform Vogel Creek is in coordination with the City of Houston, Harris County Precinct One, Harris County Flood Control District, and the Houston Parks and Recreation Department.
