Pinball Tournaments At The Silhouette Lounge

Calling all pinheads! Allston’s favorite dive, The Silhouette Lounge, is bringing the competition to a bar game classic, pinball, every Sunday from 4-6pm. While the main event sees seasoned players navigate their path to victory by flipping past gobble holes and nailing skill shots, beginners won’t be left in the cold. As a weekly pregame to the tournament, from 3-4pm, pin-wannabes can learn the basics from maximizing their plunger pull to flipping fantastically by a pinball wizard. Each week, the top-three performers will take home prizes in the form of gift cards back to the scene of glory, The Sil: first place wins $50, while second and third score $25 and $10 cards. Yuengling also will be in the house showcasing suds and hawking swag, and don’t sleep on The Sil’s gourmet menu of “Sil Dogs” (all-beef hotdogs served with condiment packets) and free popcorn. Tournament entry is $5 per person.
